PATIENT DAY

The aim of the Patient Day is to provide an innovative opportunity to find out the latest information about what has been presented at #ECC2015 and what it means for cancer patients in Austria. This half-day event covers both scientific trends in research and the special relationship often created between clinical personnel and patients and families. This will enable active dialogue between specialists involved in the advocacy, diagnosis, treatment and management of cancer, and the concerned public.

The programme combines dynamic discussions and information-sharing about the conventional and continuously evolving aspects of the research process, related to the obstacles and opportunities faced by patients and health care providers alike.

The goal is to ultimately develop a better mutual understanding of cancer treatment and care for patients.
